The Harbour Group Expands Corporate and Issues Communication Capabilities
August 6, 2007 – Washington, D.C. – The Harbour Group announced today that Laura Martin Feinberg will join as a Director. Ms. Feinberg brings with her 10 years of experience in corporate and not-for profit communications.
Prior to joining The Harbour Group, Ms. Feinberg was the Communications Director for Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure (ABC2), a national non-profit organization that funds research to fast-track brain cancer treatments. Ms. Feinberg launched the first-ever communications department at ABC2 and revamped the organization’s messaging and outreach to reach a broader audience. Previously, she was a member of the Public Affairs, Constituency Relations and Healthcare practices at Burson-Marsteller where she represented a range of healthcare and corporate clients.
“Laura’s skills in media relations and alliance building are critical to the communications and issues campaigns of our clients,” said Richard Marcus. “Moreover, her knowledge of human-health and life science communications is a tremendous asset as that sector continues to expand and grow.”
Ms. Feinberg also conducted media relations and third-party alliance development while at Washington, DC based Spectrum Science Public Relations. She interned and worked as a staff assistant on Capitol Hill at the start of her career.
