Noah Black
Associate
Noah Black is an Associate at The Harbour Group, where he designs and implements strategic communications campaigns that further the larger operating strategies of client organizations. In addition, Mr. Black identifies and pursues proactive media and outreach opportunities, based on current client message priorities.
Prior to joining The Harbour Group as an Account Coordinator in 2005, Mr. Black served as an apprentice to the chief executive of Weber Shandwick public affairs in Brussels, Belgium, where he developed new business outreach tactics and researched European Security issues. Mr. Black’s time with Weber Shandwick Brussels followed his selection for the prestigious Harold Burson Summer Intern Program at Burson-Marsteller, Washington, D.C.
It was at Burson-Marsteller that Mr. Black enhanced client programs and products by pitching news stories to technology and securities reporters, placing earned media in some of the nation’s most competitive trade publications and media markets.
Prior to his work at Burson-Marsteller, Mr. Black served as congressional relations assistant at the Entertainment Software Association in Washington, D.C. where he developed an online consumer advocacy utility and coordinated the association’s largest annual event on Capitol Hill.
Mr. Black began his professional career in Washington as a foreign policy and defense intern to Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA) and shortly thereafter assisted the early political and fundraising operations of Congressman Richard A. Gephardt’s national presidential campaign. Mr. Black graduated from the American University with a bachelors of arts in Political Science and Interdisciplinary Studies of Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government.
