Elia Boggia
Associate

Elia Boggia is an Associate at The Harbour Group, where he focuses on crafting messages and implementing a wide range of programs for clients in the firm’s public diplomacy practice. He specializes in online communication campaigns, particularly pertaining to embassy affairs, and provides issues management and media relations support for the firm's international clients, with a specific focus on projects relating to cross-border investment.

Prior to joining The Harbour Group as an Account Coordinator in 2007, Mr. Boggia was an undergraduate student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he arrived in 2003 after living all his life in Italy.

Mr. Boggia gained professional Washington experience while in college as an intern for the Center for American Progress, where he worked in the Communications Department on a daily radio prep-service. His normal duties included in-depth news research and writing compelling copy for the web site. While at the Center, he also participated in long-term research with Senior Fellows comparing health care policies of other industrialized countries to that of the United States.

While an undergraduate student, Mr. Boggia began exploring the world of communications by producing and hosting his own public affairs talk show on local radio station KCSB 91.9 FM.

Mr. Boggia graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations. In his third year of school, he completed a Senior honor's thesis discussing the effects of supranational and national events on the evolution of leftist parties in Europe.
