Laura Martin Feinberg
Director

Laura Feinberg is a Director at The Harbour Group and brings 10 years of communications and strategic alliance development experience. She has developed a focus on human health science issues management for both corporate and not-for-profit clients/initiatives. Ms. Feinberg has extensive experience in supporting local, state and national policy issues and raising corporate, brand and issues awareness through public education campaigns, advocacy support and media outreach.

Before joining The Harbour Group, Ms. Feinberg served as the Communications Director for Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, a national non-profit organization that funds research to fast-track brain cancer treatments. She launched the organization’s first communications department and overhauled the organization’s messaging to reach a broader audience of patients, caregivers and donors. Ms. Feinberg also managed collaborations with other brain tumor organizations, patients, government, industry, researchers and clinicians. Previously, Ms. Feinberg gained extensive project management experience during her six years with Burson-Marsteller where she worked in the Washington DC Public Affairs, Constituency Relations and Healthcare practices. She was able to integrate strategic alliance development, public education, human health science message development, and proactive/reactive media relations to support client’s needs. Clients included Mentor Corporation, J&J Merck, Wyeth, Eli Lilly, Pfizer, PhARMA, and the Shell Oil Executive Leadership Team.

Ms. Feinberg also worked for an independent healthcare public relations agency where she managed third-party relations and coordinated day-to-day activities for awareness campaigns such as the “The Bristol Myers-Squibb Tour of Hope,” and managed media and alliance development activities around product launches and corporate repositioning. She studied Government and Politics at George Mason University and interned and worked as a staff assistant on Capitol Hill.
