Seth Horwitz
Vice President
Seth Horwitz is a Vice President at The Harbour Group where he provides strategic communications counsel to clients helping them manage programs and campaigns to achieve a variety of business objectives. Currently, he helps manage a comprehensive U.S. public diplomacy program on behalf of the Government of the United Arab Emirates by assisting with outreach programs for the UAE Embassy to help improve understanding about the strength of US-UAE commercial, security and diplomatic relationship.
Mr. Horwitz was previously at Burson-Marsteller, where he was a member of the firm’s Crisis and Issues Management team within the U.S. Corporate Practice. While at Burson-Marsteller, Mr. Horwitz managed strategic communications programs for a variety of Fortune 500 clients on a broad range of issues.
Specifically, his assignments focused on crisis and issues management, media relations, litigation support, public affairs programs, crisis preparedness and training, labor relations, transaction support and ally development.
Previously, Mr. Horwitz served as Press Secretary for the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office in Cambridge, Massachusetts. As a chief spokesperson for then-District Attorney Martha Coakley who had jurisdiction over 54 cities and towns and 1.5 million people in Massachusetts, Mr. Horwitz gained experience in crisis management, strategic litigation support and media relations, interfacing with local, regional, and national media on a daily basis.
Mr. Horwitz is a graduate of Union College, in Schenectady, New York, where he earned his degree in Political Science. He also has an M.B.A. from The F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Mr. Horwitz also studied abroad at Ben-Gurion University in Beer-Sheva, Israel.
