Gayle Kansagor
Director

Gayle Kansagor is a Director with The Harbour Group, managing media outreach and communications campaigns, focusing on clients facing legislative or regulatory challenges on both the federal and state levels.  Ms. Kansagor has extensive experience in telecommunications and has helped clients in life sciences, technology, aviation and manufacturing address intellectual property, tort reform and consumer issues.  Ms. Kansagor has also helped clients improve their internal communications, whether it be with their employees or their members.

Ms. Kansagor comes to The Harbour Group from Telecommunications Reports International, Inc., (TR) a premier telecommunications trade publication.  While at TR, Ms. Kansagor covered state regulatory, legislative, and business activity, and during her five-year tenure, she rose from the position of State Legislative and Regulatory Analyst to editor of TR's State NewsWire, a daily publication.  She also contributed to TR's other daily publication, TR Daily, and to the company's flagship publication, Telecommunications Reports.  Ms. Kansagor led TR's coverage of the country's first major lawsuit addressing Voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP).

Before joining TR, Ms. Kansagor was a senior research associate with the Center for State Policy Research where she drafted briefs for state lobbyists on a wide range of issues, including telecom, taxation, Medicaid, and mental health.

Ms. Kansagor graduated cum laude from American University with a major in political science and a double minor in communications and Spanish.  She studied in Madrid, Spain during her junior year.
