Carolyn Krug
Account Coordinator

Carolyn Krug is an Account Coordinator at The Harbour Group.

Prior to joining The Harbour Group, Ms. Krug spent a year in Brussels, Belgium working for InBev, a beverage company.  At InBev, Ms. Krug was a member of the Global Business Services team, supporting all financial and operational process concerning their business service centers (BSCs) in Brazil, Argentina, Canada, Budapest, Czech Republic, Korea and China. While at InBev, Ms. Krug played an integral part in several of the team’s projects.  To name a few, she helped design and implement a comparability reporting for the BSCs world-wide, supported the establishment of process standardization globally for the service center activities, and was deeply involved in a global cost analysis project. Ms. Krug’s year working abroad afforded her the opportunity to collaborate with teams of co-workers from various countries, allowing her to enhance her communication and interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment.

Previously, Ms. Krug was a Congressional intern for Senator Stabenow of Michigan in her Flint, MI regional branch office. Some of Ms. Krug’s main duties included media monitoring, researching bills, and managing constituent concerns.  During her internship Ms. Krug enjoyed organizing conferences in the Flint community for Senator Stabenow and had the unique privilege of assisting with campaign events for Sen. Stabenow’s 2006 re-election.  It was in this role that Ms. Krug learned the intricacies of working with government organizations.

Ms. Krug graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a dual degree in Political Science and Economics.  She plans to pursue a graduate degree in Public Affairs/International Relations.
