Elyssa Rae
Account Coordinator

Elyssa Rae is an Account Coordinator at The Harbour Group where she supports issues management and public relations campaigns for the firm’s domestic and international clients.

Prior to joining The Harbour Group, Ms. Rae worked in the communications department at the American Chamber of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China (AmCham-China), handling web relations with members. She also helped develop content, produce and edit multimedia presentations and AmCham-China’s monthly China Brief magazine.

Ms. Rae’s career in public relations began in Beijing, China as an Executive Assistant and Social Media Advisor for B-Doing, a local public relations and events firm. She also was actively involved with Beijing’s University of Virginia (U.Va) alumni chapter and Girls in Tech China, a startup working to foster female entrepreneurship and innovation.

Ms. Rae graduated from U.Va with bachelor’s degrees in Media Studies and Sociology. As an undergraduate, she was heavily involved in the Cavalier Daily, where she served as Production Editor. She spent a semester abroad at the University of Birmingham in England, where she enjoyed exploring the culture of the United Kingdom, as well as the rest of Europe.
